8/3/2023 0 Comments Element sign of aquarius![]() As air signs, they are among the signs that bring about the winds of change. These modes will present differently depending on sign and element, but the basic tendencies are relatively consistent.Īquarius is a fixed air sign. Finally, at the end of the seasons, are the mutable signs, who are flexible adaptors well equipped to face oncoming changes. In the middle of the seasons are the fixed signs, who are willful to the point of stubbornness and serve as bedrocks to their communities. At the beginning of the seasons are the cardinal signs, who are the forceful initiators, ready to take charge and become adaptable leaders as the situation calls for it. Neither is better than the other it is merely a different approach to life and toward choosing where to exert effort.įinally, the zodiacs are also split into the modes based on where they occur in their respective seasons. Although not a perfect comparison, it may help to visual this difference as the difference between introverts and extroverts. On the other hand, fire and air, the positive yang signs, focus their energy outward and are dynamic and active. Water and earth signs are the negative yin signs, and tend to focus their energy inward, leading them to be more introspective and receptive. Do not let the connotations of the words “positive” and “negative” fool you neither personality type is better than the other, and both just exist in cooperation with the other, just as yin and yang exist in balance. The way these different elemental personalities tend to interact with the world around them generally falls into two categories: negative (yin) elemental signs, and positive (yang) elemental signs. Air signs have a natural proclivity toward being forces toward change, and adaptable and energetic members of society. Fire signs tend to have, for lack of a better phrase, a “fiery personality.” Water signs may be the “go with the flow” type, or may be shifting forces to be reckoned with. The personality associated with a sign is partially dependent on the sign’s corresponding element, with personalities and elements lining up in relatively predictable fashion. Since the Greeks are also our source for many myths surrounding the zodiacs, it isn’t surprising that the zodiacs are classified within the elemental subsets set by the Greeks. For centuries, cultures across the globe have individually split the natural world into a handful of categories, most of which closely mirror the four categories with which most people are familiar today, a categorization we probably get from the ancient Greeks. ![]() You’ve likely heard of the four elements: water, earth, fire, and air. ![]() The personality traits associated with AquariansĪir Element with Fixed Mode The Road to RevolutionĪ fixed mode gives them stability, but an air element gives them a taste for change. This article will examine the details of… Aquarians are keen intellectuals and social reformers, and their mantra is “I Know.” The Water Bearer depicted in Aquarius’s constellation has stories in a vast array of cultures as far back as Babylon. Aquarius is a fixed air sign that occurs between January 21st and February 20th, from 300° to 330° of celestial longitude, and is ruled by Uranus in modern astrology and Saturn in classical astrology. Today, we will discuss the sign that may well be the perfect match for this human need to not only understand the universe, but to shape it to our lives as well: Aquarius. The zodiacs span the entirety of the sky’s celestial longitude, 30° at a time, as well as countless mythologies, traditions, and historical discoveries. The 12 classical zodiacs (not including Ophiuchus) - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces - have long since been a means of interpreting the stars and figuring out where we fit into the universe. We watch the endless night sky for signs of life we peer into the far corners of the vastness of space with whatever technology we can pull together and, most importantly for our article today, we find hidden meaning among the stars. Is there a more human quality than an insatiable drive to understand, to figure out what the world around us means and wants with us, and to assert our presence in that ever changing world? For thousands of years, humanity has been looking up at the stars for answers.

8/3/2023 0 Comments Myst video game book seriesThe Path of the Shell also seems to be hindered by sharing elements with Myst Online: Uru Live, though that game would be slightly better received. The Landmark Video Games book series is the first in the English language in which each book addresses a specific video game or video game series in depth, examining it in the light of a variety of approaches, including game design, genre, form, content, meanings, and its context within video game his- tory. However, a fair amount of criticism is pointed towards the game's difficulty as many critics felt it was trying to outdo previous entries in the series. Getting to see Myst island, linking books, and the D'ni prison come to life in VR was phenomenal but even still experinceing the book again as an adult was a far better experience. RELATED: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a Compelling but Poorly Paced AdventureĬritics note that The Path of the Shell is just as immersive as Ages Beyond Mist, which helps build more of a connecting storyline behind the world presented in Myst. I have also recently played the rereleased game in VR and had forgotten about the final connection between the book and the game which left me a bit speechless. Despite being an expansion, The Path of the Shell is almost a completely new game added on top of the original. Uru: The Path of the Shell is actually an expansion back to Uru: Ages Beyond Mist, which would later be re-released as part of Uru: Complete Chronicles. While they retain similar gameplay and design, they take players to an entirely new location in the world of Myst. Presto Studios ceased software development entirely after the game's release, and Myst IV: Revelation, the fourth game in the series, was developed and published solely by Ubisoft. Despite selling more than one million units within the first year of release, Exile fared poorer commercially than Myst and Riven, which had sold more than 10 million units combined. Conversely, long-time critics of the series complained that Exile continued to prove that Myst's slower gameplay did not belong in the fast-paced modern game market GameSpot editor Greg Kasavin described the Myst series as having lost its relevance. The project required millions of US dollars and more than two years to complete.Įxile was received well by critics British newspaper The Daily Telegraph called it the best game in the Myst series. The developers hired Jack Wall to develop a musical style different from earlier composer Robyn Miller but still recognizable as a Myst game. Presto sought to develop a diverse and logical approach to puzzles and Ages, and worked to make the villain sympathetically multifaceted. Q:when you turn the key to the start position are the dash lights still all bright?Ī: I was looking at it carefully. During ignition the LED remains off.Īlso I want to clarify something you asked earlier and I replied to. When the car is locked up the security LED is solid red. I went ahead and took the starter off and had it tested at AutoZone out of curiosity. Also when the car is in ignition position the motor side of the solenoid has 12V on it too but no start/turn over. No problem, when the car is in start/ignition position the black wire has 12V on it. I have had to tow the car 4 times this month because of this issue and am getting desperate to find a solution. Any suggestions or help would be so appreciated. When turning the key over the headlights dim very slightly. The car seems to at it’s own whim work for a few days and then refuse to start for a week and then randomly start for a few days. The shop I have it at said they were looking around and hit some unrelated sensor by accident and now it starts which we all agree is strange. Per the shop they have tested fuses, relays, connections, starter ground, alternator, battery, battery connections and wires, starter (including the solenoid), neutral safety switch, and voltage. I replaced the battery again because the mechanic had had the car a week and the only thing that seemed to start it was a new battery.6 month old battery did have low CCA considering it was 6 months old but the CCA should have still started the car. Showed a bad relay so I replaced it and for 2 days the car started and then no start or turn over. I had a diagnostic on the ignition and electrical system. It ran of one day and then again no crank. The garage that replaced the starter put a new one in just in case it was faulty since it was under warranty. It worked for 5 months and then again would not turn over. I had the battery and the starter replaced, though the battery wasn’t that old. ![]() Six months ago the car wouldn’t start, no crank at all when turning the key over but headlights, radio, etc, all worked great. 8/3/2023 0 Comments 2023 ford edge interior![]() Its interior is furnished with high-grade materials that offer a luxurious experience to passengers. The 2023 Ford Edge is focused on providing both convenience and quality. These features enable drivers to enjoy an enhanced driving experience while keeping their eyes on the road. ![]() The Ford CoPilot360™ system offers several advanced features such as adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, lane centering technology, evasive steer assist, voice-activated navigation system, Bang & Olufsen sound with 14 speakers, and seven channels of surround sound. It also offers an optional 12.3-inch digital cluster display to allow customization of vehicle settings and information. ![]() The Ford Edge provides extra convenience with features like a wireless charging pad, an Interior Work Surface with cup holders, and a fold-out writing space. It includes supportive leather-trimmed seats, available heated and ventilated power front seats, and a panoramic Vista Roof® that creates a bright and airy cabin experience. Base models should go around 36.500 dollars, while the key competitors are Honda Passport, Nissan Murano etc.The 2023 Ford Edge here at Hoffman Ford in East Hartford, CT has a comfortable and convenient interior design. Since there are no significant changes to come, we presume that the 2023 Ford Edge will arrive sometime in the last quarter of the year. The V6 returns around 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. When it comes to fuel economy, the base engine returns around 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, which is pretty good for the segment. In both cases, all-wheel-drive is standard. The base engine comes in pair with 8-speed automatic transmission, while the V6 comes with a 7-speed unit. This one puts out around 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Still, if you prefer something peppier, there is a 2.7-liter V6. That should be enough to satisfy most drivers, as dynamics are pretty good. Base models will come with a familiar 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, which puts out around 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. We expect that the 2023 Ford Edge will continue with two familiar engine options on the offer. Among options, expect to find things like wireless device charging, navigation, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo, as well as ambient interior lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a household-style power outlet, remote start, a universal garage door opener, and a panoramic roof. We expect that the 2023 Ford Edge will come standard with tech goodies like a 12-inch touch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, four USB ports, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a six-speaker stereo, as well as dual-zone climate control and proximity keyless entry. Higher trim levels look a little bit better but still as not as you would expect for a vehicle in this price range.Īs we are talking about the final production year, the list of standard and available features probably won’t change much. The dashboard looks outdated and, more importantly, things like materials and build quality are pretty disappointing. On the other hand, what we don’t like about this SUV is the interior quality. Those are pretty much average ratings for the segment. ![]() You may count on about 39.2 cubic feet behind the second row and 73.4 cubic feet of the total cargo volume. The cargo area is also pretty generous with space. The driving position is good, both in terms of visibility and ergonomics. Also, the front seats offer decent support and a fairly high level of comfort. Both rows are adult-friendly and accommodate taller passengers with ease. On one side there is plenty of room for the passengers, as well as for the cargo. The inside of this SUV is a kind of mixed bag. ![]() After inking a multi-faceted production deal with HBO in 2006, Cook created, directed and starred in the network’s nine-part comedy documentary series, Tourgasm and wrote, executive produced and starred in Vicious Circle, a feature-length stand-up event. Small but mighty, the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC gives you the freedom to be productive here, there and everywhere. But when you pump in Linux and lower the price, you have an even more impressive ultralight. The official marketing text of HP 2133 Mini-Note PC Netbook 22.6 cm (8.9") 1 GB Windows XP Home Edition as supplied by the manufacturer I think it has to do with the low end package bundled with Linux – CNET’s reviews seem to only review the high end 2GB models. Another thing I have noticed is the pricing - that in the Philippines, this unit is so much more affordable than the the US versions. Now all we need to do is wait for the MSI Wind, the ACER Aspire One and Toshiba’s answer to HP’s new ultraportable. The Mini Note has a very abysmal battery of 1 to 2 hours BUT … and here’s the big BUT – the battery is removable and you can opt to attach an extended battery for 6 cells, bumping up the battery to about 2 to 4 hours. The new HP Mini Note PC kills the eee 900 in all aspects – except the battery life. If you’re considering an ASUS eee 900, I’d suggest going for this instead. It also has the biggest SHIFT key ever made for an ultra light. It is about 93% the size of a standard keyboard. # The keypad feels almost like a regular keypad. ![]() # PC Card (EVDO!) and SD card reader built in - which means I can transfer my Nikon DSLR photos without the need of a cable - too good to be true! # Two USB ports: one on the left side and one on the right - hurrah! The left and right click buttons are rather oddly located to the left and right of the trackpad, and not below. # The trackpad has an on/off button that disables the mouse entirely useful for portability. There are many things to note from my first impressions: So I have one with me right now (the mid range unit with Windows Vista Basic). This is the obvious recommendation, as Vista seems to crap out once in a while (and we’ve also seen the live demo of Windows 7 … wait, you havent ‘yet?). It’s not rocket science – you can definitely figure out that the first package – at roughly P25,000 gives you a full functioning PC (the keyboard is kick ass) and runs on Linux. The HP 2133 Mini Note PC or the “HP Mini” as we like to call it comes in three packages: Option for Windows Vista Basic, Windows Vista Business or Linux Preinstalled Two battery solutions: 3 cell for ultralightweight config // 6 cell for extended battery life Let’s check out the full package, specs and pricing:ģD DriveGuard with accelerometer for parking the hard drive when the computer falls I can’t believe how much style and features were packed into this thing, with an array of choices for the operating system and a ridiculously low price, it isn’t funny. The HP Mini Note PC is the cheapest full functioning ultra light PC I have ever encountered. Their direct competitor would be Toshiba in terms of pricing and “status.” But I was floored to see something that night that made me realize how companies are now trying to -reinvent themselves to the new market. HP desktops and laptops have always had that reputation of being good but *cough* expensive. Here’s a short size comparison between the HP Mini Note PC, my 13 inch MacBook and a standard sized Samsung F400 (Bang and Olufsen) mobile phone: I think this was because I won the wackiest pose on the HP wall - I balanced the Mini Note on my head. HP has just released the Mini Note PC to the Philippine market last night and I was lucky to have taken home a demo unit from the event. With ASUS releasing the eee and eee 900, other manufacturers have gone light ( see ACER’s Aspire One product feature) and now the market has definitely tipped. The ultra-light phenomenon has just tipped once again. 8/3/2023 0 Comments Clipper score![]() The Heat seem more than happy to facilitate all that while giving Lillard the shot at contention he'll never get with Portland.
